That's right! Another stupid teaser aimed at making you come back the website! Enjoy 02/21/05 HERE WE ARE Well let’s review what was to be 2004 for Jesus Chrysler. Shaggz disappeared for about a month at the end of January, beginning of February. In March REVV informed us he may be joining another band. In April he informed us he was joining another band. In June Kat joined. In July Kat quit. In August Knuckles joined us for our only show of the year in Claremont for the 2004 Hogfest. In September Shaggz joined another band. In October Shaggz quit. In November Duffy and Dino joined on drums and bass. And here we are. Soon I may be posting the History Of Chrysler as I remember it. And we hope to be revamping the web page as we have revamped the whole lineup. With Shaggz gone I was unsure of what to do with the name. This is what I came up with. Shaggz and I started this together 6 years ago. Both of us achieved more than we ever thought or had prior. We may not have changed the world but we sure rocked it a few times. I am now and always will be tied to that guy in one way or another. We shared a vision and did all we could to achieve it. We may not have reached our goal but we weren’t on the sideline watching. All the while surrounded by copy-cats and those lacking originality. Far too afraid to try it a different way. I will treasure the time we spent together and he will be missed by not only those of us in the band but anyone who met him at one of our shows. He will maintain a page here jc.net. That being said, let’s not blow this out of proportion. He’s not dead. He wasn’t kicked out. He moved. It became hard for him to make practice. So he quit. These things happen. Treble’s been with the band for almost two years now. We have an established name. Changing it just doesn’t seem to make sense. I hope everyone will understand. We hope to continue to entertain people and just carry on with the fun spirit and attitude that we always have. Thanks again and if you get a chance to see Shaggz in his new band do so. Pictures form the 2004 Hogfest have been posted on the Pics page. You can see them HERE 9/04/04 BAKKO HERE!! Well I have no plans for the weekend and I'm bored. I thought maybe some of you would like a sample of some of the hate mail I get regarding the name of our band. It proves two things I've known to be true. Only a devout christian would be offened by our name. Anyone who thinks we're Christian Rock isn't very religious (or bright). Anyway it's funny stuff if you ask me so take a look HERE 8/04/04 HOGFEST THIS WEEKEND!! Here is the scoop on the big Hogfest show. Music on the Countryside Motorcyle stage will begin around 5:30. Opening will be Buzzard Gravy. After JC will take the stage around 7:00. They will be playing two sets for sure. Possibly a third. The first set will be an all original set. So if you want to get your JC fix in make sure you’re there in time. The second set will be a largely cover set. This is being done for Hogfest and will be the first time JC has ever done this many covers in a set. Done Chrysler style. After that if time permits they will hit the stage for a third set that will more than likely be a mix of covers and JC originals. So if you don’t know how to get there HERE'S a map. Claremont has no idea what they got themselves into! 7/12/04 NEW SHOW AND SOME NEWS! Jesus Chrysler will playing the 2004 Hogfest in Claremont MN on August 7th. This is their first show in quite a while and of course everyone is encouraged to come out. They will playing at Countryside Motorcycles at 103 Northeast ST. in Claremont MN. Outside if the wheather is nice and inside if it ain't. Beer and food will be all over so come early and stay late. Click HERE for a map to the place. In other news, after having a bass player for almost a whole month, KATT has decided to not be in Jesus Chrysler any longer. So who's playing bass for them now? Who fuckin' knows. As soon as we get word we'll tell ya. As for why, well mom always said something along the lines of if you can't say something nice... let's just say we wish her the best. 6/13/04 REVV QUITS JESUS CHRYSLER!!! REVV has ended his year and a half stint as the bass player and all around wierdo in Jesus Chrysler. The band has kept this quiet while they searched for a replacement. "Tryouts sucked! I want to start a support group simply for people who have gone through this. We almost settled on a couple guys before we made our final decision." Stated Bakko. "The three of us are glad it's over and can't wait to finally play a show again!" The official announcement on the replacement will be made next week and of course all of the news, pics and intros will be right here. As for REVV's future. He has joined Twin Cities band All The Pretty Horses. His name in this band is Tempest. We encourage everyone to check out a show. It will defiantly be worth it. You can't beat that. Well I hope this schmuck get's his $12.00 plus shipping coz' he obviously is real familiar with the band. GO PHILLY! 3/19/04 ANOTHER UPDATE Hey there all. I'm getting tugged into this website shit more and more it seems. Well rehersals are all we've had and things are going great. Shaggz got new cymbals. R E V V was giving the wrong strings from the brilliant minds that work at Guitar Center. Treble hasn't broken a string in 2 practices consecutive now and I still have the same strings I've had for almost half a year now. We should have some show news soon. We have been putting the feelers out and we'll see what happens. Things have been going well and there was even a GOOSE sighting. Same ole' Goose, always changing (anyone get that?). Well I hope to see people soon. Go out and see a band tonight. Have a few beers and look for your favorite JC member at a local bar. That's all for now. Sorry not much new. He has quite a few interesting things to say about the "Inner Sanctum" of Jesus Chrysler. 2/27/04 FIRST UPDATE OF THE YEAR! Why haven’t the been any updates lately? Well because there frankly hasn’t been much to update. We could have had a daily log of bullshit like our buddy at Fifth Corridor likes to waste webspace on. Or we could use this space for Bakko’s soapbox but that’s a little self serving and we have the message board for that. That being said I asked Bakko to give us a state of the band to post and he obliged with the following. Hello everyone. What has been going on with Jesus Chrysler? I get asked this question almost everytime I go out. And I find myself without too much to say. But since I don’t want ya’ll to get the wrong idea I can see why it’s important to keep this site updated. So here is what has been going on with JC for the last six months. We decide late last summer to take on a different approach. One that allowed us to continue on with our current path but at the same time give us a little more long term exposure. The downside… it meant no gigs for a while. At about the halfway point to our goal we had a couple of setbacks. Some we knew were coming some we didn’t. That seemed to snowball into more time away from the band than initially desired. The guys I jam are with in this band are not just musicians they are my friends. Sometimes when setbacks arrive your first thought is to replace and move on. But realistically we all need support and patience from those around us and I feel that patience has been rewarded. I’m not going to go into the details but I will say that good times and bad were hitting each member of this band like a hurricane since our last show. Keep in mind that JC has been going steady for 6 years. REVV has been in for almost 2 and Marty for 1. But both those guys have been in bands prior. So we all needed a break. It just wasn’t a planned thing. I would compare it to when you’re 14 and your parents tell you to clean your room. And it’s such a huge task. You get going on it and you’re kicking ass. Then all of a sudden you come across a box of pictures or an old magazine or book you haven’t seen in a while. So you start flipping through it and next thing you know you’re no longer moving forward. Then when you do start back cleaning you no longer feel motivated. And you have to force yourself back into the act. Once you do you get flowing again. We practiced every Tues and Thursday for 6 years. During that time we probably missed no more than 20-25. Essentially out of a possible 312 practices we were there for 290 (I’m estimating). So the holiday season comes around and Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are all on Thursdays. Some were leaving town on Tuesday. Then one of us would be sick. Then you start thinking you know I could really use the time to study or I could really help out with the kid tonight and so on. Then before you know it seems like you’re never all together and not like a band at all. So we needed the break but then we all needed a kick in the ass afterward. Which, my brothers and sisters, is where we are now. Back on track I think. We are going to start playing out again. When I’m not sure of. But when we do you will see it here. And we do have goals but rather than be one of those bands that are constantly talking about their new CD coming out that never seems to come out. I will say that these are a few things we as a band are hopefull to see happen. We want to start gigging twice a month at minimum. And we want to put out another CD. Right now, other than little bits we have written on our own, we haven’t even started writing for a new CD. So there is no time table as of yet. Beyond that… I hope y’all haven’t forgot about us. I hope when we do our next show we’ll see lots of familiar faces and above all I hope things are going smooth in everybody’s life. Just remember… Jesus Saves! 12/21/03 TREB'S A DADDY! Treble recnetly became the father of wittle baby boy. Don't have all the details. Sounds like everything went well and both the baby and mother are doing fine. No word on Treb. Congratulations and good luck!! 10/22/03 HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAKKO! Today is Bakko's birthday. So let's all wish that ungrateful bastard a happy one. He can suffer the rest of the year. Happy birthday you FUCK!! 10/09/03 HELLO... O... O...O... Well it's been a long time between news updates. So what's been going on? Well not much. All of the JC boys are enjoying some much needed time with those who love them. Here's what I can tell you. They are practicing regular. Twice a week minimum. They are, as for now, not accepting any new gigs. Any changes will be posted here. They will not, unfortunatly, be playing their annual Halloween gig. The reason given was a time schedule issue. There are band members dealing with personal items. They aren't negative by any means but as for now they are personal. They are soon to be back. They haven't broken up in the least. They are all fortunate to have a bunch of joyous things happening right now. I also know that there will be some news shortly of the next show just exactly what's going on. You can get a gander at the competition and the prize and see it all for yourself. 8/20/03 JESUS CHRYSLER GOES BIG TIME! There are a couple of interesting sidenotes on Jesus Chrysler to pass on. First off Shaggz will be on the 93X Half Assed Morning Show this friday the 22nd as part of a dating game they are having. Shaggz will be one of 3 lucky suitors trying to get a date with the {ehhem} lovely lady they chose. Tune into 93X around 7:00 and root Shaggz on. Let's hope he wins. Also you may noticed R E V V's pretty face in a commercial for Academy College. Yup, looks like the old boy has a personality after all. It started broadcasting this week. Keep your eyes peeled! 08/17/03 NEW SHOW The boys will be back at the Red Sea on Sept. 10th for an all ages show with the Hot Rod Sinners. You can view the pic HERE. Thanks to the lovely lady for sending in the pic. 08/12/03 20 Q BACK? We have our first new 20 QUESTIONS in over a year posted. This month is John Leguizamo look-alike John Cole. Currently employed by Sixpack Records and The Olive Garden. From here on this feature will be called the Grease Pit and we have no schedule and will try to do them at least once a month but we make no promises. Check it out and thanks the John for being such a trooper on the questions!! 08/12/03 BAKKO AND RIGGZ HELP OUT THE KIDS! Bakko and Riggz were in the 2nd Annual Marah Beth Classic which is a charity Polish Horseshoes tournament to benefit terminally ill children. They were seeded 12th in a 32 team bracket. They advanced to the 4th round where they were bounced by what Bakko claimed was a "vastly inferior" lower seeded team. They can take the fact that they were new to the game and they still were able to pick it up to the level of a top bracket seeding. Which goes to prove that if it's a game that you can drink beer while playing, Bakko and Riggz or pretty much anyone Chrysler related will hold their own no matter how little they've played. Check out a photo of them HERE. 08/06/03 R E V V SOUNDS OFF ABOUT TREB AND PAM R E V V was recently asked about his thoughts on Pam Anderson moving in with Treble and he wasn't too keen on the idea. "I think it's bullshit! I've been in this band and playing music longer than him. I mean if you really think about I should have 1st crack at her. Bakko's got that whole Serena thing and well we all no Shaggz isn't sober long enough to say hi. So It would make more sense for me to get on her before Treble. I mean, no ill will to Treb. He's my boy. I just think he should've cleared it with me before moving her in." 08/05/03 BENEFIT SHOW As most of you know, Janis Figure lead singer Billy Bisson has had some major medical issues and he has no health insurance. This weekend on Friday and Saturday (8/8-8/9) there are two benefit shows at the Uptown Bar to help with the medical bills. Please, if you can make it to either one, do so. It is a rare chance to 1st hand help someone right out of your wallet. Every little bit helps people. We neeed to get the message across! 06/27/03 NEW SHOW The boys have been confirmed for a show at the RED SEA on July 11th. First up, they have a new guitarist. His JC name is Treble. He was formerly in FOC (Friend Of Chrysler) Distant Relatives Of GOd but since that fizzled he might as well be in JC. In a more depressing note, JANIS FIGURE singer, Billy Bisson had a seizure on May 29th and was taken to the hospital. They discovered that he had a broken blood vessel in his brain and was kept in Intensive Care for 2 days. He is expected to make a full recovery in a few months and will be on medication for 2 years. JC would like to send there thoughts and love in hopes of a smooth and full recovery. 06/04/03 SHAGGZ CAST IN NEW CHEECH AND CHONG MOVIE Just got word that Shaggz has been cast in the role of Chong for the upcoming remake of the Cheech and Chong classic UP IN SMOKE to be released late 2003. John Leguizamo has been cast to play the role of Cheech. Shooting begins in Vancouver late June. Word is that this will not affect Shaggz touring availability but it has gone to his head. Shaggz was reportedly seen at the Midway McDonalds shouting "You call this a McMuffin? You'll never work in this town again asshole!" to an elderly employee. Our man the Warrior hasn't had much luck against the Diesel in the past so this is a bit of a grudge match. Head out to the Jungle and root for our bud. BRITTANY SPEARS IS A FILTHY BITCH! Jesus Chrysler have made it public. They are dating Brittany Spears. In an unsolicited statement wednesday the band ended what seemed like moments of silence and announced that they were indeed dating Brittany Spears and that the 5 of them were deeply in love. "We're crazy for her" said Shaggz. "Yeah" said Bakko. "That's right! It's totally true." said R E V V. Goose, who seemed to only catch part of the conversation, said "I don't like her music but I'd like to fuck her." To which they offered some details as to their sex life with Ms. Spears. "I get the Butt, Bakko gets the mouth, Shaggz get's the snatch and Goose get's to sit in the corner and Jack-off!" said R E V V. "She wants it all the time. Non stop. Even when she's got her monthly visitor. The bitch is filthy man!" said Bakko. "She's fuckin sick in the sack dude!" said Shaggz. No word from the Spears camp and no one is quite sure how it came up. !! 03/15/03 CORRECTION I recieved an email from Bakko asking me to make a couple of corrections to posts on the Message board. First, it was the good folks at the Bloomington FIRESTONE that kicked ass and got the van back on the road for the 28th gig. Also, it should be noted that the opener on the 28th is spelled KREPITUS. THE GOOSE IS OUT OF THE BAG!! For those of you who came to the show on Valentines Day, you saw the return of Goose to JC. We haven't recieved any word on whether this was a one time deal or if he's back for good. I talked to both Bakko and Revv saturday after I heard and neither was willing to discuss it. Only to say they would confirm one way or the other before the Red Sea shows. That things were still being worked out. Since we don't deal in rumors we'll leave the message board for speculation 02/11/03 SHAGGZ!!! SHANIA!! NAWW! This is from the AP. Posted today. 'Ending months of speculation, Shaggz, in an interview with Pauly Shore, squashed all talk of his involvment with country singer Shania Twain. For weeks rumors and stories have been leaked that the two had become "romantically" involved. Not so said the maned JC drummer. "She's got kids man. I don't need that!" This statement was followed by 2-5 minutes of mumbling and psychotic laughter. 02/06/03 FLIPP SHOW!! Just heard today that JC will be opening for FLIPP when they play the Jungle on February 14th. Let's all come out support our boys as they come home for the weekend. I think I heard Bakko refer to it as the Love Stinks show. They will also be headlining their own show back at the Jungle on Feb 28th. So get your Chrysler fix this month Owatonna!
